Notes
As thunderstorm approached, sprinkle began at 12:46pm and increased to light rain around 1:10pm. Precipitation intensity increased to rain at 1:35 with no wind. Heard distant thunder at 1:37. Rain decreased to light rain at 1:43, sprinkle at 1:45 ending at 1:53. No hail was observed. Checked gauge catch at 1:54pm indicating 0.05". Sprinkle returned at 1:58 with sunshine ending at 2:05pm. Next thunderstorm that was to our south provided light rain at 3:25pm diminishing to a sprinkle at 3:35. Unknown duration of sprinkle. Next thunderstorm approached straight from the west with light rain beginning at 5:30. Suddenly at 5:36pm, heavy rain with small hail blew through and had ended within 10-15 seconds. Hail Report was submitted. Light rain at 5:37 ending at around 5:45pm. Checked gauge catch at 6:15pm indicating 0.06". Skies calmed and cleared after that storm. Eastern sky had huge, towering cumulonimbus. Sky is clear this morning.
