| Friday was a busy weather day! At 3pm we received some small soft hail along with rain and some wind. That passed through and a few minutes later hard hail from 1/8” to 3/8” along with rain fell. Very little damage to plants. Then around 5:30 we had a large thunderstorm roll in. I went out to the garden to protect plants from hail damage and there was loud thunder coming from all around me. Soon heavy rain began falling, but we were spared from the hail that the meteorologist on tv said could be up to the size of a quarter. |
